I find that my generation feel Shakespeare is redundant and old fashioned. I want to revoke this opinion and show how relevant these stories are even today. In doing this I have collected some of the main themes and brought it into a more contemporary setting, that a younger audience could connect with. My production will be an immersive play performed in the Oliver theatre at The National Theatre, London.

Utilising the magic in the story as a referential point to the party lifestyle of the 1970's. Looking into the disco scene and the performance wear of the time. Utilising this theme and returning to the lore of Greek mythology.
