Cuttin' a Rug

Cuttin' a Rug is part of the slab boys trilogy written by John Byrne and was the setting for this production directed by Eleanor Farrelly. The concept was to interpret this piece of writing in a movement context. I worked closely with the director to source and up-cycle all of the garments from charity shops and second-hand items online. Creating a vision for a show with budget and time constraints really allowed us to become incredibly creative with our vision for this show and be mindful of the portrayal of the characters.
