Inspired by the Inuit tale of Sedna, I designed for the sea creatures born from Sedna's pain and Sedna herself. I was inspired by the Tudor era and used symbolic references such as; the pearls, ruffs and small details to embellish my costume. My final design was for the lion’s mane jellyfish as seen down below. I utilised wire skills, sewing and pattern cutting and also hand dyed all of the textiles to create the final look.
